Volunteer Opportunities
Our volunteers have the power to make a difference in every residents' lives. It is important to us that our volunteers help the residents stay socially active and involved our community.
BE PART OF THE CONVERSATION
JOIN FAMILY COUNCIL
If you are a family member, representative, or someone involved in a resident’s life, we welcome you to be part of our Family Council. Your voice matters. Join our Family Council to share feedback, ask questions, and help shape the experience at our community.
Meetings: First Wednesday of each month
Time: 4:00 PM
Location: South Conference Room
Responsibility:
- One-on-one visitation with the residents
- Assist with the scheduled activities.
Qualifications:
- Each volunteer must complete a brief privacy training session.
- Youth volunteers must be at least 10 years of age and complete a wheel chair training session.
- Must display a strong sense of caring for the elderly.
- Must be committed to the volunteer experience.
Opportunities:
- Adults: Participate in crafts, bingo, socializing with residents, and activities.
- Youth: Participate in the summer program, outings, and games.
