At Stewartville Care Center, we tailor our services to meet your special needs. Helping you with the care you or your family member needs is our priority. Our goal is to provide you and your family the peace of mind you deserve.
Our organization has strong roots in the community of Stewartville for over 35 years. We currently have a 76-bed Care Center that was built in 1969 by the community of Stewartville. At that time, a non-profit company was formed with a board of directors to oversee the operations of the nursing home. In 1975, the North Wing was added to bring the total capacity to 109 beds.
In 1985, Stewartville Care Center added a 32 HUD senior housing project on the south end of the Care Center known as Stewartvilla. In 1998, Stewartville Care Center built Root River Estates in 1998, consisting of a 29-unit independent apartment complex on Stewartville Senior Campus.
We maintain a reputation of excellence in health care throughout the region. Stewartville Care Center's motto "There are no Strangers here; only Friends we haven't met" is shown through our caring work, and dedication provided by our employees and volunteers.
We are currently an 85-bed skilled nursing facility for residential and rehabilitative care offering comfort and security. All of our beds are Medicare and Medicaid certified.
